Lift Run Rest Privacy Policy

Lift Run Rest LLC (“Lift Run Rest,” “LRR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Lift Run Rest mobile application handles information when you use the app.

1. Information Stored in Lift Run Rest

Lift Run Rest stores workout and app information locally on your device so the app can provide features such as workout history, progress tracking, saved workouts, training schedules, custom exercises, active-workout recovery, and app preferences.

This may include information such as:

  • Workout history and exercise details

  • Sets, repetitions, weights, duration, and workout notes

  • Cardio distance, pace, route, temperature, and related workout metrics

  • Saved workouts and workout presets

  • Training schedules and calendar changes

  • Custom exercises

  • Active workout recovery information

  • Profile details you choose to enter

  • App preferences and settings

Lift Run Rest does not currently require or maintain an LRR user account, cloud profile, login, or remote LRR user ID.

2. Local Storage and Data Transmission

The primary workout and fitness data used by Lift Run Rest is stored in the app’s local device storage unless you choose to use an Apple service such as Apple Health or a feature that uses an Apple service to provide functionality.

Lift Run Rest does not currently operate an LRR server that receives your workout, fitness, location, music, or profile data.

The current app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, telemetry, remote database, or authentication services.

3. Apple Health and HealthKit

Apple Health integration is optional and requires your permission.

With your permission, Lift Run Rest can write supported completed-workout information to Apple Health. Depending on the workout type, this may include:

  • Workout type and name

  • Workout start and end times

  • Workout duration

  • Estimated active energy

  • Supported distance information

  • GPS routes for eligible outdoor workouts

For route-export verification or retry, Lift Run Rest may read only workout and route records that Lift Run Rest itself created using LRR synchronization identifiers.

Lift Run Rest does not read heart-rate data.

Lift Run Rest does not send HealthKit data to LRR servers, use HealthKit data for advertising, sell HealthKit data, or provide HealthKit data to data brokers or information resellers.

You can manage Apple Health permissions through Apple’s Health and privacy settings.

4. Location, GPS, and WeatherKit

For eligible outdoor workouts, Lift Run Rest may request access to your device’s location.

Location can be used to calculate and record information such as:

  • Distance

  • Pace

  • Speed

  • Elevation gain

  • Workout route

  • Ambient temperature

Lift Run Rest requests When In Use location authorization rather than Always authorization.

During an eligible outdoor workout, location updates may continue in the background while the workout is actively running. Recorded routes are stored with local workout History and may also be written to Apple Health if you choose to enable route export.

During an eligible outdoor workout, Lift Run Rest may provide one usable workout location to Apple’s WeatherKit service to obtain the current ambient temperature. Lift Run Rest saves the returned temperature with the workout on your device.

The workout continues normally if weather information is unavailable.

Lift Run Rest does not send your full workout route to an LRR server for weather lookup and does not use location for advertising, marketing profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Weather information is provided through Apple’s WeatherKit service and is subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

5. Apple Music and Media Controls

If you open Lift Run Rest’s music controls and grant the required permission, the app may access limited Apple Music and media playback information needed to display and control the currently playing media.

This may include:

  • Current song or music-video title

  • Artist or subtitle

  • Artwork

  • Playback state

  • Current queue-entry information

Lift Run Rest can provide play, pause, previous, and next controls.

Lift Run Rest does not read your full music library or playlists, does not persist this music information to app storage, and does not send it to an LRR server.

Lift Run Rest does not receive your Apple Account password or Apple Music payment information.

6. Notifications and Live Activities

Lift Run Rest may use local notifications for workout-related features such as:

  • Training Schedule reminders

  • Strength-rest notifications

  • Stretching interval notifications

Notification permission is optional and can be managed through iOS Settings.

Lift Run Rest also uses Live Activities for supported outdoor workouts. Workout information that may appear on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island can include:

  • Workout name or activity type

  • Workout or phase status

  • Elapsed or phase time

  • Distance

  • Pace or speed

  • HIIT round information

These Live Activity updates are local. The current app does not use remote push notifications or a remote push-token flow for these features.

7. Lift Run Rest Pro Subscriptions

Lift Run Rest Pro subscriptions are purchased, billed, restored, and managed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit.

Lift Run Rest may process limited StoreKit information needed to display the subscription and determine your access to Pro features, such as:

  • Product identifier

  • Localized subscription price

  • Verified transaction identifier

  • Expiration date

  • Revocation status

  • Current subscription entitlement state

Lift Run Rest does not receive your full payment-card number, billing address, or Apple Account password.

The current app does not send StoreKit transaction records to an LRR server and does not use server-side receipt validation.

8. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Lift Run Rest currently does not include:

  • Third-party advertising

  • Third-party analytics

  • Cross-app tracking

  • Advertising identifiers

  • App Tracking Transparency-based tracking

  • Attribution SDKs

  • Marketing-profiling SDKs

  • Data-broker integrations

Lift Run Rest does not sell your personal information.

9. Data Sharing

Based on the current Lift Run Rest implementation:

  • Workout and fitness data remains on-device unless you choose to export supported information to Apple Health.

  • HealthKit data is handled through Apple Health.

  • GPS routes remain on-device unless you choose to export supported route information to Apple Health.

  • A usable workout location may be sent to Apple WeatherKit to obtain the current ambient temperature for an eligible outdoor workout.

  • Apple Music information is read temporarily for media controls and is not stored by LRR.

  • Subscription status is processed through Apple StoreKit.

  • LRR does not currently collect usage analytics or diagnostic information on an LRR server.

Apple services may separately process information according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

10. Data Deletion and Retention

Workout History that you delete may be moved to Lift Run Rest’s Recently Deleted area.

Deleted workout History, deleted saved Strength workouts, and discarded active workouts may remain recoverable for up to seven days unless you permanently delete them sooner.

Certain other content, such as some saved presets, HIIT routines, and custom exercises, may be deleted directly instead of being moved to Recently Deleted.

Deleting workout History from Lift Run Rest does not automatically delete workout or route information that was separately exported to Apple Health.

Uninstalling the app normally removes Lift Run Rest’s local app data and settings through standard iOS behavior.

11. Profile Information

Lift Run Rest may allow you to optionally enter profile information such as height, weight, sex or gender, and birthday or age-related information.

This information is stored locally and is used to support app functionality.

Lift Run Rest does not currently have a remote user-profile system or LRR account service.

12. Children’s Privacy

Lift Run Rest is not designed as a child-specific service and does not provide child-focused social or community features.

The app does not currently maintain a remote account system or use profile age information to create a separate child account or experience.

13. Security

Lift Run Rest is designed to keep its primary workout and fitness records in local application storage unless you choose to use supported Apple services.

No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Lift Run Rest changes.

When the policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
